Wentworth Woodhouse is a grade one stately home with the longest facade of any country house in England. The house is situated in the picturesque village of Wentworth. The house offers pre-booked tours of the beautiful interiors and the gardens. 

 

The beautiful building is a popular film location for different tv programmes and movies including 'The Finest Hour' and Victoria.

Wentworth Woodhouse now has a lovely tea room and gift shop which are available to visit without purchasing a ticket to view the house.

Known locally as the Millers, Rotherham United is a professional football club that will be competing in league one for the next season.

The Aesseal New York Stadium is an impressive modern stadium and is within walking distance of Rotherham town centre and the railway and bus stations

Thrybergh Country Park

Thrybergh Country Park is a reservoir and nature reserve situated between Thrybergh and Hooton Roberts on the outskirts of Rotherham.

An important habitat for birds and wildlife, there are level footpaths around the lake and as well as ample parking also an ice-cream parlour and a children's play area.

Formerly a steelworks set in an amazing massive building, the museum offers a hands-on experience. Packed with interactive displays. Explore the wonders of science and technology and then let off steam in the playground outside.
