An ideal hotel between Sheffield and Rotherham.

We always try to visit as many hotels as we can do. Last week we were lucky enough to visit the Mercure Sheffield Parkway Hotel which is about 6 miles from Sheffield on the edge of Rotherham just off junction 33 of the M1.

The hotel has always been very popular in the area and now also serves the recently built Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre AMRC which includes companies like McLaren Group, Boeing and Casting Technology International.

The hotel has 78 bedrooms including some spacious privilege rooms. These include a Nespresso coffee machine, robe and slippers and a sofa area for relaxing.

The Mercure Sheffield has a small fitness suite, 24-hour room service as well as a bar and restaurant.

The popular meeting area has conference rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people depending on requirements.

Finally, the hotel offers ample free parking and is a great place to meet for informal business meetings in the bar area.
